Dolaucothi Gold Mines
Located only a few miles from Lampeter on the road to Llanwrda
are Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mines. Owned and operated by the
National Trust, the underground workings are open to visitors
during the summer. There are also a number of walks in the
estate, as well as a cafe and a history display.
